I constantly am asked the question "What's HOT"? My reply is not what they are looking for because the answer depends on many things such as:
- What are you trying to accomplish?
- What is your budget?
- When do you need it in hand?
- How many do you need?
- What have you done in the past?
- What is your method of distribution?
- What are the demographics of who you are giving it to?
- What is the time period for the promotion?
Now, of course, I could tell them that USB's, Moisture Management Material, Texting Gloves, Made in the USA, "Green" products and Target Marketing are HOT but of course that would be toooooo easy!

It is a new year and people have new resolutions and goals to increase sales. One area that you should consider is coming up with a strategy to contact people that you have done business with in the past but for one reason or another have not had any recent sales. I would first start off with contacting the company to make sure that you have the name of the current person that you would deal with, clarifying if there is the possibility of doing business with them and then consider your possible options in reconnecting with them.
